A little about me ~ "Dedicated to Happy Endings"

In 2003, my husband, Dale, and I purchased our property in Fairfield Harbour and relocated to this beautiful area in Eastern North Carolina.

We came for the golf and active leisure lifestyle that is such a part of New Bern and the surrounding area. At Fairfield Harbour we enjoy two championship courses. There are hundreds of other incredible courses in the Pamlico Sound region. But Eastern NC has much more to offer than just golf courses. Many people move because of military transfers or to be able to enjoy boating, fishing, and the Atlantic Ocean, which is only a short drive away.  

Too many buyers pass up a great house just because they can’t see through its current state and imagine what could be their "perfect dream house". I can help you explore the possibilities!

My extensive professional experience covers everything from banking and insurance to interior design and residential space planning. I have the ability to assist buyers to visualize how “a house can become a home".


As a professional kitchen and bath designer, I worked closely with homeowners to interpret their ideas and desires into reality. No areas in the home are more demanding to make over within certain space and budget constraints. The ability to listen and critically analyze those desires is crucial in achieving client satisfaction.

I’ll also offer the seller important insights when selling their home on how to make it into a marketable product. The goal is to sell it at the optimum price. Sometimes that means trading decorative "personality" in order to appeal to a broader buying public. Remember - you can always make your next home your own! I’ll help you "design to sell".  

Personally, I have I have shared my life with Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. For over 20 years I’ve been actively showing and breeding this wonderful “comforter spaniel,” which dates back to 1600’s era merry olde England. I have always valued the CKCSC breed club’s strict code of ethics and have volunteered many hours as an officer and board member of the northeast regional club before moving to my new home in North Carolina.
